19 May THE EASY WAY TO APPLY FALSE LASHES

No more fingers and glue stuck to your lashes, an easy how to guide to prevent the messiness of applying false lashes.

We’ve all been there fingers stuck to lashes, lashes sliding all over the lid having a bitch fit at the mirror. Trying to use tweezers, but the tweezers sticking to the lashes. A nightmare right? Well worry no more; I have discovered an easy way to apply these little nuisances. I love false lashes…I love them so much I won’t have night out without them…but it used to mean getting ready an hour earlier than needed to apply them. Very frustrating!

I had a love/hate relationship with my must have beauty item for a night out, so much so I cried one time and ruined my entire make up. I can laugh now but at the time it was devastating. A few months prior to my lash meltdown I discovered a make-up artist who would solve all lash problems. Introducing Nikkie Tutorials. I follow a lot of makeup/beauty gurus via YouTube and I stumbled across Nikkie’s channel and discovered a video that would change my lash life forever. The trick is so simple I couldn’t believe I didn’t think of it myself. ”CUT THEM IN HALF”. How easy? And that’s all it is. Cut the strip lash in half and your lash problems will vanish, I promise you. I use this technique not just for my clumsy self, but for my clients also. It is quick and easy and is much more comfortable on the eye. I also don’t have to worry about trimming the ends of the outer edges of the false lash to fit my eye. So no more wasting the ends of my lashes.

Step One: Remove lashes from pack gently. I recommend using tweezers.

Step Two: Choose a left or right strip lash.

Step Three: Cut the strip lash in half directly through the middle.

Step Four: Apply a fine layer of glue to the lash using a cotton tip.

Step Five: Let the glue become tacky do not apply with wet glue…I repeat do not apply with wet glue. It will slide around the eyelid and not set in place, give it at least a minute to become tacky.

Step Six: Looking into a mirror use tweezers to pick up the outer half of the lash and apply as close to the lash line as possible. Follow with the second part of the lash. Continue with your other strip lash following in the same steps.
